Silêncio| Silence

Hoje recebi na minha caixa de correio um exemplar de “Silêncio”, o terceiro livro da série de Becca Fitzpatrick. Como afirmei por várias vezes, foi devido à leitura de “Hush, Hush” que decidi tentar escrever algo dentro do género. O terceiro volume vem em  boa altura, pois estou a dois capítulos de terminar as correções em que tenho estado a trabalhar. “Mais correções?!” dirão vocês. A verdade é que a versão anterior de “Perdidos” tinha muita “palha”, pelo que tenho estado ocupada a fazer alguns cortes. O próximo passo será enviar o texto para uma professora de Português para o corrigir. Depois começarei a trabalhar no segundo livro, daí que “Silêncio” tenha saído mesmo a tempo – é sempre bom ter uma fonte de inspiração! Espero poder lê-lo em breve.

Today I received in my mailbox a copy of "Silence", the third book in the series of Becca Fitzpatrick. As I stated several times before, it was the reading of "Hush, Hush" that made me decide to try to write something in the genre. The third volume comes in good time, because I'm two chapters away from finishing the corrections I’ve been working on. "More editing?!" You might say. The truth is that the previous version of "Lost Ones" had a lot of unnecessary data, so I’ve been busy making some cuts. The next step is to send the text to a Portuguese teacher to correct it. Then I’ll start working on the second book, thus "Silence" has come out just in time - it's always good to have a source of inspiration! I hope to read it soon.
