OPINIÃO
Bem, este é um livro que demorei imenso a terminar… e não o
terminei eventualmente.
Começando pelo início, comecei a ler “Bound by Blood” na
altura em que estava a corrigir o meu próprio livro, pelo que lia poucas
páginas e com muito tempo de intervalo. Quando terminei as correções, tentei
concentrar-me na leitura deste 3º volume da série Paradox, mas não fui capaz.
Fui forçada a desistir e a colocá-lo de parte. E porquê? Porque não sou fã da
estrutura que autora escolheu para esta narrativa. Falava-se de tantos povos e
tantas tribos, que cheguei a um ponto em que senti que me tinha dispersado e
estava a perder o fio à meada ao que seria a história principal.
No entanto, mantenho a classificação de três estrelas que dei
aos volumes anteriores, porque não considero que a história esteja mal escrita,
apenas não me agrada a estrutura adotada.

Well,
this is a book that took me a lot to finish... and I didn’t finish it at all.
Starting
by the beginning, I started reading "Bound by Blood" at the time I was
correcting my own book, so I read just a few pages at a time and with several
days between them. When I finished my editing, I tried to concentrate on
reading this 3rd volume in the series Paradox, but I couldn’t do it. I was
forced to give up and put it aside. And why? Because I’m not a fan of the structure
the author chose for this narrative. It talks of so many people and so many
tribes that I came to a point where I felt that I had dispersed and I was
losing the thread of what would be the main story.
However,
I keep the three stars rating of the previous volumes, because I don’t consider
the story poorly written; I’m just not fond of the adopted structure.
