SINOPSE
Há muito tempo, num reino quase esquecido, uma raça de anjos caídos chamada Grigori entrou em confronto a casa de Anjos governante chamada Bulguardi. A batalha mudou os eventos no Mundo Antigo e no Novo Mundo para sempre. Um reino onde um ano pode durar séculos e um povo antigo mágico que ainda governa, até mesmo os imortais podem correr perigo. OPINIÃO
Concluí a leitura deste livro a 7 de setembro de 2012. À semelhança do que aconteceu com o primeiro volume da série, dou-lhe três estrelas.
No geral, achei este livro bem melhor do que o primeiro. Embora continuem a existir partes que acho que não contribuem em nada para o avanço da narrativa, estas não são frequentes quanto no primeiro volume.
Também há mais ação do que no primeiro livro, o que foi bom, pois achei o primeiro demasiado parado.
Foram igualmente introduzidas novas personagens, algumas das quais gostei. Outras achei que só contribuíam para a confusão em certas cenas. De qualquer modo, a autora conseguiu fazer malabarismos com elas nos diálogos – eu perder-me-ia se tivesse que escrever uma cena com tanta gente envolvida.
Tenciono continuar a acompanhar a série para saber como acaba.

I finished reading this book on September 7, 2012. Similar to what happened with the first volume of the series, I rate it three stars.
Overall, I found this book much better than the first. Although there are still some parts that I think contribute nothing to the advancement of the narrative, they are not as frequent as in the first volume.
Also there is more action than in the first book, which was good, because I thought the first one was too ‘stopped’.
We were also introduced new characters, some of which I liked. Others I thought they only contributed to the confusion in certain scenes. Anyway, the author managed to juggle them in dialogues - I would lose myself if I had to write a scene with so many people involved.
I intend to continue to follow the series to see how it ends.
