Acabei
de ler este livro a 26 de agosto de 2013; dou-lhe quatro estrelas.
Não
sei bem porquê, mas estava à espera de um livro um pouco melhor e mais
interessante, pelo que fiquei um pouco desapontada.
Claro
que a reviravolta de não se tratarem de vampiros foi boa, mas a Ever passar
para Summerland num momento crucial de luta não foi muito bem construído; até me
deixou baralhada e a perguntar “mas o que raio aconteceu?”.
Também
acho que, em certas partes, a história anda tão depressa que não fica muito bem
encandeada – falta qualquer coisa.
A
parte das reencarnações também me fez lembrar o “Anjo Caído”, da Lauren Kate,
mais ainda bem que a narrativa seguiu noutro sentido.
De
resto, gostei da história e passar ao volume seguinte para ver como correm as
coisas, se bem que este livro não precisava de continuação; vale só por si.

REVIEW
I
finished reading this book on August 26th 2013; I rate it four stars.
I
don’t know why, but I was expecting a little better and a more interesting book,
so I was a little disappointed.
Of
course the twist of not being about vampires was good, but the move of Ever to
Summerland at a crucial moment of fight was not very well built; it confused so
much that I just asked "what the hell happened?".
I
also think that, in some parts, the story moves so fast that it isn’t well
linked – there’s something missing.
The
part of reincarnations also reminded me of "Fallen Angel", by Lauren
Kate, but gladly the narrative went in another direction.
Overall,
I liked the story and I’ll pass to the next volume to see how things go, though
this book is not needed to be continued; it is worth alone.
