OPINIÃO

Acabei de ler este livro a 20 de maio de 2013 e dou-lhe quarto estrelas.

Esta vai ser uma opinião muito curta, até porque acho que as histórias da série não diferem muito umas das outras e acabam sempre mais ou menos da mesma forma.

O que não posso deixar de apontar, mais uma vez, é a semelhança com a escrita de J.R. Ward na Irmandade da Adaga Negra. É que até a possessividade e o emprego do termo “minha” surge quando os vampiros estabelecem a ligação com a mulher humana.

Quanto a seguir esta série, bem, a Biblioteca Municipal de Alcácer não tem mais exemplares, pelo que vou ficar por aqui… por enquanto. Agora vou voltar à série do Eragon para concluir a leitura da trilogia.

REVIEW

I finished reading this book on May 20^th 2013 and I rate it four stars.

This will be a very short review, because I think that the stories in the series don’t differ much from each other and they always end up more or less the same way.
What I must point out, once again, is the similarity of the writing with JR Ward and her series of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Even the possessiveness and the use of the word "mine" arises when the vampires link with human women.

About following this series as well, the Municipal Library of Alcacer doesn’t have any other volumes, so I'll stick to these two ... for the moment. Now I’m going back to the Eragon series to finish the trilogy.

Opinião 

Acabei de ler este livro a 22 de fevereiro de 2013. Dou-lhe quatro estrelas. 

Achei uma história engraçada, com uma dose comedida de erotismo, que está bem equilibrada o romance e a ação. Não achei que uma se sobrepusesse à outra, pois após as cenas românticas, sucediam-se as das missões de Lucan. 

Embora a temática dos vampiros não seja inovadora, gostei da génese que Lara Adrian criou. É uma explicação um pouco diferente e que dá uma nova perspetiva às coisas, o que é sempre bem vindo. 

Também gostei das personagens e o drama entre Lucan e Gabrielle prendeu-me. Ainda gostava era de saber mais sobre o misterioso T, que se isola. Talvez merecesse um livro à parte. Aliás, esta série tem mais livros. Quem sabe se um deles é sobre esta personagem? Lol! Vou ter de continuar a seguir a série. 

De menos positivo, só tenho a apontar que senti um vazio no início da história, em que não era capaz de me relacionar com nada. Acabou por passar, portanto foi um obstáculo que ficou para trás. Não sei bem do que se tratou, mas o início não me cativou.

Review 

I finished reading this book on February 22nd, 2013. I rate it four stars. 

I think it was a funny story, with a measured dose of eroticism, well balanced romance and action. I didn’t think that one straddled the other, because the romantic scenes were followed by the missions of Lucan. 

Although the theme of vampires is not new, I liked Lara Adrian’s idea about how they were born. It's a slightly different explanation and it gives a new perspective on things, which is always welcome. 

I also liked the characters, and the drama between Lucan and Gabrielle gripped me. I wish I could know some more about the mysterious T, who is so isolated. Maybe he deserved a book of his own. Well, this series has more books. Who knows if one of them is about this character? Lol! I guess I'll have to continue to follow the series. 

Less positive, I can only point I felt a void in the beginning of the story, during which I was not able to relate to anything. Eventually it passed, so it was an obstacle that was left behind. I'm not sure what that was about, but the beginning didn’t captivate me.
